New trade waste procedures for businesses

Attention all businesses

In order to help make Glasow a cleaner, greener city Glasgow City Council are changing the trade waste procedures.This will affect all businesses that store or put their waste out for collection on roads, pavements or lanes.

The changes mean all trade waste containers (bins, bags and recycling)

• must be stored inside business premises instead of on the street and
• must only be put out for collection during pre arranged time slots.

All businesses must be compliant by 15th September 2018
